Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games have revealed the first gameplay trailer for the next instalment in SEGA’s beat ’em up series, Streets of Rage 4. Check it out below, then come back here and join us in getting incredibly hyped about it.
This new iteration of the series boasts an incredibly vibrant art-style courtesy of Lizardcube, who worked on the Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake. While their hand-drawn visuals brings the game to life, the gameplay trailer also shows us there’s plenty of depth in the gameplay, with co-op juggle combos and special moves.
No firm release date has been announced as of yet, nor platforms, though it’d be fair to expect Streets of Rage 4 to launch on the big four platforms of PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Are you excited? Sound off in the comments below.
