Stephanie McMahon Steps Away From WWE

Until next time!

WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon, has decided to take a leave of absence from her duties in WWE for the foreseeable future to focus on family. The news comes from Steph herself who revealed on Twitter that she wouldn’t be hanging around WWE HQ as much as she has been lately, citing her intentions to focus on her husband Triple H and her children during this downtime.

The daughter of Vince McMahon has been an instrumental part of WWE’s outreach programmes, claiming that philanthropy is the future of business on various occasions to much criticism. Stephanie has also been involved in on-screen storylines, acting as both a tyrannical leader of the brand alongside Hunter, as well as a supportive soap-boxer for the Women’s division and many other fledging stars.

Stephanie ensured that she will one day return to WWE and her duties as Chief Brand Officer, but with things taking somewhat of a nose-dive in terms of WWE’s business thanks to the growing competition, perhaps now is the best time for her to step into the shadows temporarily.

Either way, fair play to her.
