Starfield: Where To Find Biosuppressants

At some point during your adventures in Starfield, you may encounter a quest that wants not 1, but 3 Biosuppressants, and chances are you’re skint. What makes matters worse is that this resource is incredibly hard to come by. Here is all the know-how on how to obtain this precious resource.

Biosuppressant is an exotic tier 3 resource that exists in the vast universe of Starfield. You can use this resource in a variety of crafting recipes, like weapon mods and outpost structures.

Biosuppressants are an organic resource, meaning you can’t mine or farm them like you can with minerals. Instead, you better grab a gun or sword and start harvesting it from some wildlife that can be found on various planets and moons across the solar systems. Enemies you encounter and crates you loot also have a chance to drop this resource.

Trouble is, this is an exotic rarity after all, so the drop chances are pretty slim. If you don’t fancy taking down all life in the universe, then there are some alternative ways to obtain it.

Your companions can sometimes bring you gifts while you are out on your travels. They usually tell you they have something for you randomly when you are near them. Talk to them, and a new dialogue option will be available for you to take what they find.

In rare cases, they can give you Biosuppressant materials, such as the flower above. Though this is not a reliable method, you can’t control what the outcome of the gift will be.

But by far the best option is to purchase it from certain vendors throughout the settled systems. This will give you exactly what you need with no hassle at all.

Here are a couple of vendors that sell Biosuppressants that you can reach early in your playthrough.

  • Jemison Mercantile (New Atlantis Spaceport)
  • Denis Averin (Cydonia/Mars)

There are many more Biosupressant locations across the universe so be sure to get exploring.
