Stardew Valley Multiplayer Is Still On Its Way, Says Creator

Although the Stardew Valley hype hit its peak near the end of 2016, when fans were swarming over the game, many fans joking about how it sucks your time away until you forget about everything, some comparing it to Sid Meier’s Civilization series and Animal Crossing, amongst other franchises. Although the creator of the game, Eric Barone, has said that he already has ideas for his next game, he’s still working on bringing fans of Stardew Valley a multiplayer.

Last we heard, the beta release date for the Stardew Valley multiplayer was foreseen to be sometime in early 2018. For a while, it felt like they were going to miss this release date and have to push it back, but his most recent tweet has shown that we might still be seeing the multiplayer beta soon.

It’ll be very interesting to see what gameplay changes the multiplayer mode will bring.
