Merge Games and Infuse Studio have announced that they’re releasing Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition on PS5 next month, with a digital launch set for November 26th while physical copies will be released on December 4th. Better still, they’ve partnered with Signature Edition to create world’s first “Indie Collector’s Edition” for the PS5.
What Is Spirit Of The North?
Spirit of the North is a casual adventure game where players explore a nordic landscape as a humble fox, who becomes embroiled with The Guardian of the Northern Lights that appears as a spirit fox. The two companions explore the land and try to find out more about a lost civilisation. Naturally, the Enhanced Edition of the adventure includes two new skins, and 4K/60fps support.
So About That Collector’s Edition?
Pre-orders are now live for the Signature Edition version of Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition, and it’ll include a region-free version of the game on PS5, the official soundtrack on CD with 14 tracks, 2 pins, a numbered certificate of ownership and a 36-page book that includes art, lore and never before seen sketches. The collection will cost $49.99, €49.99, £39.99, which is incredibly reasonable for a Collector’s Edition. Now you’ll just have to find the room to store it all, considering the PS5 needs its own room to house it. That thing is massive.
