UPDATE: After the State of Play showcase, a PlayStation Blog post confirmed that Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also launch on PC later this year. It also confirmed that the Spider-Man series, as of May 15th, 2022, has managed to sell a whopping 33 million copies so far. That number is likely to increase massively with PC sales looming on the horizon.

ORIGINAL POST: Insomniac Games and Sony have confirmed that popular PlayStation exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be web-swinging over to PC on August 12th, bringing with it all the upgrades and The City That Never Sleeps DLC campaigns with it.

This is just the latest in an ongoing push from Sony to release their exclusive line-up on PC, with games like Uncharted, God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn already making the leap. Whether follow-up game Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also get the PC port treatment remains to be seen, but it’d sure be nice.
