According to a recent Sony earnings call, we should hear more about PS5’s line-up of games in the near future. The call was attended by Bloomberg’s Takashi Mochizuki, who noted that Sony’s CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said that “we will soon be announcing a strong lineup of PS5 games”.
My latest on Sony: CEO spent time to explain why it is making its financial arm wholly owned, but also said "we will soon be announcing a strong lineup of PS5 games." https://t.co/ki414zu5Fw

Yoshida reportedly didn’t provide any updates or clarification beyond, though rumours have been circulating for a while that Sony would be hosting a big reveal event in early June. It’s possible that this is what Yoshida is referring to, though time will tell on whether or not that pans out.
On the other side of the fence, Microsoft have been a lot more open regarding their marketing plans for the Xbox Series X, giving players a more clear indication of what to expect when their console launches at the end of the year. Sony have just been dripfeeding news and content for the past few months, so hopefully we can expect a big news blowout next month.
