Our first international star announced for this year’s Super Strong Style 16 Tournament is Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Sonico. An unfamiliar name to many, but PROGRESS fans are about to get a real treat in the form of the budding luchador.
Sonico has been making a name for himself in Defy, 3-2-1 Battle and the aforementioned Japanese promotion, NOAH. Sonico has feuded with fellow Super Strong Style entrant Chris Ridgeway as part of the growing rivalry with the Stinger faction. Perhaps the two will meet once again in Alexandra Palace.
Sonico joins Travis Banks, Riddy and Jonathan Gresham when PROGRESS brings Super Strong Style 16 to Ally Pally in May. Make sure you book up for the big weekend soon!
