Shenmue III Delayed For An Additional Three Months

More than enough time to find some sailors.

Shenmue 3

Ys Net and Deep Silver have announced that the long-anticipated conclusion to the Shenmue trilogy, the aptly named Shenmue III, will receive a small delay from its scheduled release date of August 27th. Instead, Shenmue III is set to launch on November 19th for PS4 and PC.

On a public post on the game’s Kickstarter, director Yu Suzuki and Deep Silver have said the following: “Whilst almost ready, the game simply needs a little more refinement before being truly finished. We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve! We thank you for your patience and understanding.”

After being announced during Sony’s E3 Conference in 2015, it’s been a long road to the game’s launch, so what’s a couple of months of additional wait in the meantime, right? It’ll actually give me enough time to play the game for the first time. Speaking of which, do you know where I can find some sailors?
