The Shadow of Mordor Sequel Has Been Leaked By Target

Shadow of War

If you ever thought we wouldn’t miss the retail industry once AI inevitably ships us all the stuff we could ever need, consider this: Where we would ever find out about video game leaks unless someone jumped the gun?

The latest accidental announcement is one that’s been anticipated for a long time and it comes from Target, of all people. Shadow of Mordor is getting a sequel and it will be called Middle-earth: Shadow of War and will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Shadow of War

The synopsis:

“Experience an epic open-world brought to life by the award-winning Nemesis System. Forge a new Ring of Power, conquer Fortresses in massive battles and dominate Mordor with your personal Orc army in Middle-earth: Shadow of War.”

Judging from that, it sounds as if Talion and Celebrimbor will be returning to take on Sauron with their very own ring. The innovative Nemesis system is also making a return along with fortress and tribe building. DLC will include new campaign content and customisation options.

WB had planned a special announcement on March that was presumed to be Batman. It might have actually been this instead.

Against all odds, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor launched to critical acclaim and is still revered as one of the best of this generation. Here’s hoping WB Games can deliver the goods again this time around, but they should probably avoid PewDiePie this time around.
