September’s free games for PlayStation Plus members have been announced. Members will be able to download and play Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds on PS4, and Overcooked! All You Can Eat on PS5. These games are available to PlayStation Plus members beginning on September 7th, and until October 4th.

Hitman 2, which got a much-lauded sequel in January of this year, lets players travel across the globe and stalk their targets in this hybrid stealth action/puzzle solving game. Hitman 2 also introduced co-op play and the new Sniper Assassin mode.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetrical multiplayer shooter that casts one player as the Predator and everyone else as humans trying desperately to defeat the alien super-hunter. Both player roles have different styles of play to keep combat fresh and nuanced as you and your friends hunt and/or get hunted.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat, the solo PS5 exclusive freebie this month, is a repackaging of co-op time management party game Overcooked, its sequel Overcooked 2, and all additional content for either game in one single, definitive serving. The game boasts hundreds of levels of co-operative and competitive play, both locally and online. In addition to campaign, survival and practice modes, this title also includes the all-new Assist mode, with support options including scalable UI, dyslexia friendly text and colour blindness options

The advent of September’s PS Plus games does mean that August’s titles, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Hunter’s Arena: Legends, and Tennis World Tour 2 will be gone on September 6th.

When Do The Games Go Live?

Usually, all PlayStation Plus games for a new month are made available by noon in your region wherever you are, but they’re typically up for download earlier than that.
