Total War: Warhammer 3

SEGA and Creative Assembly have announced Total War: Warhammer 3, the culmination of the trilogy that sees the iconic strategy game developer pair with the legendary Games Workshop, set to launch on PC in 2021. Check out the announcement trailer at the top of the page, just beware that you don’t become corrupted by the forces of Chaos if you do.

What’s The Deal With Total War: Warhammer 3?

Warhammer 3 will see the war between the mortals and the denizens of the Chaos Realm reach its conclusion. Players will make choices regarding the races they want to play, and those choices you make will have a lasting impact. You’ll also be able to explore the Lands of the East and Realms of Chaos themselves.

On top of the already expansive list of playable races, Total War: Warhammer 3 will introduce Kislev and Cathay, two races from World of Warhammer Fantasy Battles who are making their video game debut, along with the Chaos faction of Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch. There’s a new campaign that sees players trying to save or exploit the power of a dying god, and each race has their own journey which will determine the overall fate of the world. No pressure or anything.

Total War: Warhammer 3’s Game Director, Ian Roxburgh, said the following in a press release: “Our vision, from the start, was to create a series that felt like an incredible journey through this world we all loved. The enormous support of our players in ensuring the success of the first two instalments has pushed our ambition to new heights, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
