Epic Games and Iron Galaxy took to The Game Awards 2021 to reveal Rumbleverse, a new battle royale that- wait, come back! Look, this one is focused on melee combat and everyone looks like wrestlers. That’s unique, right? Check out the reveal trailer below.
According to the video’s official description, Rumbleverse is a free-to-play “brawler royale” in which 40 players compete to become champion. As a brawler, you’ll be fighting against each other close up, instead of hiding in a bush and sniping people. If you’re interested in hearing more, there’ll be a proper gameplay presentation tomorrow, though if you’re looking for an answer as to why Epic are competing against themselves in the Battle Royale space, you might go wanting.
