Resident Evil 7’s Not A Hero DLC Has Been Delayed By Capcom

Not A Hero

Initially due to release this Spring, Capcom have decided to push back the release of the ‘Not A Hero’ free DLC for Resident Evil 7 to an unspecified date.

Citing a difference in quality between the extra content and the main game, Capcom are delaying its release, something which senior members of the staff have apologised for, including the game’s director in a video message.

In addition, there will be more DLC coming to the game, though this will not be free.

Not A Hero is set to revolve around Chris Redfield and how he ties into the events of Resident Evil 7. Not much else is know about the free expansion so far.

We reviewed the season pass for Resident Evil 7 and weren’t exactly blown away. It’s a mixed bag of fluff and quick distractions with only a couple of instances of real quality:

“Resident Evil 7’s DLC is an acquired taste and it certainly isn’t the worst Season Pass out there. It does just about enough to mean it’s worth the money for certain Resi fans, but for everyone else, it’s probably best left until the inevitable complete edition comes out a year down the line.”
