Resident Evil 4 Remake: Full List of Charms

Charms in Resident Evil 4 Remake mark probably the single biggest fundamental change from the original game. Basically gameplay modifiers that can make your life a little bit easier, Leon can equip up to three charms at a time with the effects ranging from helping him to craft more ammo to getting more health back from eggs to getting discounts in the Merchant’s shop. The best thing about them? They’re based on the character models in the original game.

Charms can mainly be earned by completing challenges at the Merchant’s Shooting Range and earning Tokens, which can then be spent at special vending machines near the Merchant. The better players do, the more likely they are to earn Gold Tokens, which can result in them getting higher rarity charms. They can still earn higher rarity charms from using Silver Tokens, though the chances are less high.

Here are all of the charms that we’ve come across in Resident Evil 4 Remake, including what they do.

How to Equip Charms

RE4 Charms
RE4 Charms

Players can equip up to three charms by going to a typewriter, then selecting Storage. There is an option to change the left, middle, and right charms from this screen.

There are a lot of really helpful charms in the remake, but we would definitely recommend using Leon w/ Handgun to save on the cost of the constant knife repairs and Ada Wong to save on the cost of body armor repairs.

Resident Evil 4 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X & S.
