Resident Evil 4 Remake: All Clockwork Castellan Locations (Bobbleheads)

Resident Evil 4 Clockwork Castellan

Clockwork Castellans in Resident Evil 4 Remake are a continuation of the classic bobblehead collectibles from previous Resident Evil games, and there are 16 of them in total, one for each of the game’s 16 chapters.

A lot of the Clockwork Castellans in Resident Evil 4 Remake can be found in very obvious places, some right in front of you as you’re making your way along paths in the main story, though there are a handful that are much less easy to find. Even with the distinctive jingle, these Salazar standees can be a little hard to locate. You’re going to want to track them all down too, as you can unlock a special weapon from the Extra Content Shop. You will also need to find them all for the Revolution Wind-Up trophy/achievement.

If you’re struggling to track down the bobbleheads in this barmy game, here are all the Resident Evil 4 Remake Clockwork Castellan locations across all chapters. If you don’t know which ones you’re missing, check the Results page from the main menu.

Chapter 1 Clockwork Castellan

The first Clockwork Castellan is found in a house at Lakeside Settlement pretty early on into the game. Climb in through an open window, deal with the dynamite ganado, then shoot the Castellan in the rafters of the building.

Chapter 2 Clockwork Castellan

Chapter 2’s Clockwork Castellan is located in a small shack to the north of the Abandoned Factory. Shoot it atop some hay, but beware that you might get the attention of the chainsaw ganado. You can also find a file in the shack about destroying the wind-up dolls too.

Chapter 3 Clockwork Castellan

Chapter 3’s Clockwork Castellan is really close to the Merchant that you meet after you make your way through the Quarry and come across Shooting Practice for the first time. Climb down from the upper platform to the right of the Merchant, then shoot the doll hiding on top of a box on the dock.

Chapter 4 Clockwork Castellan

The Clockwork Castellan in Chapter 4 is actually very close to the one in Chapter 1, but you will need the Insignia Key before you can access it, though this is found in Chapter 3. With the Insignia Key, head to the locked door on the map at Lakeside Settlement above. Enter the cave, then hang a right and climb up the ladder you see.

Now in the Forest Altar area, find the Clockwork Castellan you need just past the wooden gate. There are also some items to the left on top of a cart in this area.

Chapter 5 Clockwork Castellan

You will have been to the Village Chief’s Manor before Chapter 5, but you will need Ashley with you before you can get the Clockwork Castellan located there. With Ashley in tow, return to the room where Mendez first attacked you, then find the ladder and ask Ashley to help you pull it down. The Clockwork Castellan resides in the attic along with an Antique Camera that you can sell for a good amount of pesetas.

NOTE: if you’ve not managed to find all of the Clockwork Castellans up to this point, you may want to turn back unless you don’t mind doing another playthrough.

Chapter 6 Clockwork Castellan

Chapter 6 Clockwork Castellan

This is one of those Clockwork Castellan that’s a bit hard to miss in Resident Evil 4. As you’re making your way along the path towards the Checkpoint area, shoot the doll that’s right next to the fire to tick another collectible off your list.

Now in the castle section, the Chapter 7 Clockwork Castellan is another one that’s very hard to miss. After you defeat the Garrador, climb up a ladder into the Treasury and find the bobblehead atop some boxes.

Another bobblehead that might be missed by a lot of people, get over to the Castle Battlements and the first place where you see the the shutters with the sun symbols. When you walk through the first door, go left then climb the somewhat hidden ladder instead of just running across the rampart.

At the top of the ladder, deal with any zealots, then loop all the way to the left and find the doll on top of a box. There are also other items here worth grabbing that will come in handy.

Chapter 9 Clockwork Castellan

Clockwork Castellan Chapter 8

This is probably the first Clockwork Castellan that will give you a bit of trouble to actually find. From the starting position at the yellow arrow above, head into the Courtyard and then hang a left and make your way to the left through all of the hedges until you arrive at the area marked in red. You are now basically under the stairs that you walk down to first enter the Courtyard. Find the doll next to a box.

Back to the very obvious dolls, this one is found in a grate in the Depths that you can’t miss as long as you listen out for it as you make your way along the story path.

Just before you make your way inside for an extended section involving the creepiest enemies in the game, head back to the right and find the Clockwork Castellan between some vehicles. It’s not in a specifically named spot so it’s a little hard to give exact details, but follow the map location above while outside and you will find it.

Chapter 14 Clockwork Castellan

Right before the fight with Krauser, hang a right to go to the Amber Storeroom above the Campsite, then find the Clockwork Castellan inside a small building atop a locker. There are also other items worth collecting in here.

Chapter 16 Clockwork Castellan

Probably the easiest Clockwork Castellan to miss in the whole game thanks to the blaring music. Find the final Clockwork Castellan atop a crate after defeating the final boss at the location above in the Underground Passage section. If you’re worried about the timer, you should still have ample time no matter the difficulty as long as you follow the above screenshot location.
