Resident Evil 2 Guide: Waiting Room Safe Combination

Stuck trying to find out the Waiting Room's safe combination in Resident Evil 2? We got you.

Resident Evil 2 review

Resident Evil 2 is a game that doesn’t always make things easy for you. Whether it’s the sparse ammo or the incessant thumping around of a giant in a hat, you’ll need all the help you can get. That’s exactly why you should make you way over to the Waiting Room safe and give yourself a little bit of help when you can.

The Waiting Room in Resident Evil 2 is located in the east side of the Police Station and is right next to the Art Room, which is where you will need to go to get the Shotgun/Grenade Launcher and Magnum/Uzi. The safe you need is located right underneath a counter in the corner of the room.

The combination for the safe can be found on some documents detailing a crazed criminal. No need to go hunting it down: we have what you need here.

That’s 6 left, 2 right, and then 11 right. Remember to invert the direction it says on the document, so when it says right, you press left on your controller when using the dial. Simply follow that short combination and unlock the safe to receive a Muzzle Brake for Leon and an Extended Mag for Claire. The more mods you can get for the default weapons, the better.

From our Resident Evil 2 review:

“Resident Evil 2 is, quite simply, one of the best remakes of all-time. Capcom have nailed their new vision of a classic just like they did back in 2002 by modernising a decades old game to feel like something completely fresh. Whether you want to take a trip down memory lane or are just experiencing the disconcerting decadence of the police station for the first time, Resident Evil 2 is the first essential purchase of 2019.”
