RAW News: The Viking Raiders Win The RAW Tag Team Championships

A wholesome viking experience

Erik and Ivar captured their first main roster Tag Team titles last night on RAW, defeating Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in the show’s most advertised bout. The Viking Raiders have been treading water since their debut on the main roster and after the whole Viking Experience debacle, but have started making the most of their minute momentum and broke through into the title picture.

The Viking Raiders have picked up some pretty big wins against The O.C, making them one of the few teams credible enough to challenge for the RAW Tag Titles. It was only a matter of time before Vince took notice of these two massive brutes, it seems like the waiting finally paid off for fans of the Viking duo.

The Raiders put together a pretty dominant performance against the veteran champs, stringing their most exciting tandem offence together early on in the match and finishing up with the aptly named ‘Viking Experience’ finisher to take it home.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode found themselves drafted to SmackDown Live in the process, so we guess that’s the end to their storied history with the RAW Tag Team Championships. It was fun while it lasted, I think?

Congrats to The Viking Raiders, who’s next in line?
