The pairings continue to be announced in WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge, with Monday Night Raw revealing their latest team-up.
Raw GM Kurt Angle has announced that Apollo Crews will be joining forces with one of the most dominant women in wrestling today, Nia Jax.
Apollo Crews will be replacing Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, who has recently been taken ill. This news hasn’t been received all too well by Jax, who has been smitten with Amore as of late. Jax was also hoping to have been teamed up with Braun Strowman – an honour received by her best friend, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss.
Crews and Jax will have to put their animosity aside if they are to stand a chance against other formidable pairings announced for the tournament so far.
The WWE Mixed Match Challenge will take place exclusively on Facebook Live, beginning January 16th. The winning team will take home $100,000 for a charity of their choice.
