When Is Quintessential Quintuplets: Season 3 Being Released?
Sadly, no release dates were mentioned in the short teaser trailer. And since the trailer just dropped, you shouldn’t expect Quintessential Quintuplets: Season 3 to be released anytime soon.
Don’t confuse the teaser with the other announcement where they “supposedly” revealed a sixth sister joining the quintuplets. Now that really was just an April Fools’ prank.
What Is Quintessential Quintuplets: Season 3 About?
To be honest, this won’t really be a traditional “season.” If you’re expecting a continuation of the story, it, unfortunately, concluded with the Quintessential Quintuplets Movie. Fuutarou even made his decision on who he was finally picking there.
Quintessential Quintuplets: Season 3 will be more of a compilation of the stories from the manga that the previous seasons didn’t adapt. One chapter that wasn’t adapted was The Living Room Confession where Miku confesses her feelings to Fuutarou.
Huge parts of the manga chapters were also cut from the movie and could be shown in this next season.

It’s difficult to predict who could make Quintessential Quintuplets: Season 3. The series has switched producers and studios multiple times between the two seasons and the movie.
Quintessential Quintuplets: Season 1 was co-produced by Pony Canyon, Kodansha, ZERO-A, and GYAO!. Tezuka Productions was the animation studio in charge.
Quintessential Quintuplets: Season 2 was co-produced by Pony Canyon, Kodansha, DAX Production, BS11, Nichion, GYAO!, Good Smile Film, and MAGNET. Bibury Animation Studios was the animation studio in charge of this one.
The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie was co-produced by some of the previous companies: Pony Canyon, Kodansha, and Nichion. It was also animated by the same studio from Season 2, Bibury Animation Studios.
After all of these company changes, it seems that the Quintessential Quintuplets anime will have another new producer. The trailer for Quintessential Quintuplets Season 3: was revealed on the TBS Animation YouTube channel. TBS Animation is an anime production company that started in 2000, so that announcement most likely means that they will also be co-producing the new season.

If you’re looking to watch the Quintessential Quintuplets Movie, it recently made its rounds in theaters. It only started featuring in North American theaters in December 2022, so if you missed it, there isn’t really any legal way to watch it right now.
