I can’t wait for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds to hit Xbox One, not because of its nail-biting tension or that its the Battle Royale granddaddy finally coming to console. No, it’s because they might release more press releases than the one above, the same image we’ve been using for everything to do with PUBG since it came out. Seriously, look at it.
If you’re looking at picking up PlayerRelativelyWellKnown’s huge shooter on Xbox One next month, you’re in for a treat – its boxed version is down to £20 at ShopTo – a decent discount from £24.99.
Bear in mind that it’s effectively still in Early Access (“Game Preview” for Xbox One), so it may not exactly be the most technically impressive of games, but at least you now get to find out what all the fuss is about from the comfort of your couch.
If you’re unfamiliar with ShopTo, my fellow Vultures tell me they’re one of the best around and sometimes even send out games before release date, so there’s that. I just pre-ordered, so we will have to wait and see.
