Progress Chapter 100 Sells Out In Under An Hour

Guess who missed out on tickets.

Progress Wrestling

The post-Christmas dose of Progress always promises to be a spectacular show for those lucky enough to pack-out the Electric Ballroom. This year’s is destined to be extra special. Not only does the annual Unboxing special return to Camden, but Progress head-honcho Jim Smallman has confirmed that it’ll be his last show. With all this hype surrounding the last wrestling show of the year, there’s no surprise that it sold out within the space of an hour.

Tickets to Ballroom shows are typically available for around half a week before they eventually sell out, what with the venue being relatively small in comparison to some of their more groundbreaking events at arenas such as Wembley and Alexandra Palace, but this must be a new record for them. Progress fans had been demanding tickets to this special event months in advance, hundreds poured onto Progress’ ticket sales site and left many frantically hitting the refresh button hoping to secure a ticket or ten before the inevitable sell-out.

This is fantastic news for Progress though, even if it has left plenty of fans scouring second-hand sites. It means that Jim Smallman will receive the send-off that he deserves and more fans will be enlightened to the sheer nonsense that is an Unboxing special.

Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for any spare tickets going and give me a shout when you’ve nabbed them for me.
