The Prodigy Unleash New Single ‘Nasty’, Announce Tour

the prodigy new single

Blink and you miss it, six years have gone by. It was 2009 when The Prodigy’s last album, Invaders Must Die, dropped. I was 19, and Warrior’s Dance was my ring tone for a while. Yeah, I had a fucking ring tone, we’re talking back in the day here. However, as much as getting overly nostalgic may make it feel like only yesterday, six years is a long time. I mean, by six years old you’re a proper person and everything, getting stressed over bills, business meetings, and arguments with your spouse.

No matter though, the wait is over and The Prodigy kick start 2015 in style by dropping the first single from their new album along with coinciding video in tow. The album is The Day Is My Enemy, the single is ‘Nasty’, and the video is foxy. I won’t prattle on for much longer, just watch the video. The album’s out March 30th, the single’s out now, and The Prodigy are on tour this May (see below) and tickets go on sale this Wednesday.

Newcastle O2 Academy (May 4), Bridlington Spa (5), Birmingham O2 Academy (7), Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (8), Blackpool Empress Ballroom (9), Reading Rivermead (11), Brighton Centre (12), Bournemouth International Centre (14), London Alexandra Palace (15/16)
