During last night’s Indie World showcase for Nintendo, Private Division and Roll7 announced that OlliOlli World, the follow-up to OlliOlli and its sequel, would be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. It’s since been confirmed to arrive on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S too, and you can check out the debut trailer at the top of the page.
What Is OlliOlli World?
OlliOlli World is a 2D skateboarding game that see players travel to the world of Radland, a magical skateboarding haven filled with colourful characters and plenty of quarter pipes to nail some sick tricks. Along the way, you’ll meet new characters, customise your own with new clothes and tricks, and ultimately attempt to meet the Skate Gods on your quest for Gnarvana.
Simon Bennett, a co-CEO at Roll7, is excited for the next instalment of OlliOlli: “We couldn’t be happier to finally bring the vision we’ve always had for the OlliOlli series to life with this ambitious new evolution. We wanted to embrace the weird, wonderful, and diverse side of skateboarding culture with a game that’s all about going on a road trip with your friends, finding crazy spots, pulling mad tricks, and most of all, skating everything in sight!”
