Predicting the WWE 2K19 Roster

One of the most exciting features of the WWE 2K games is the newest updates made to the roster. 2K boasts the biggest and most star studded cast of characters, almost making it to 200 unique superstars in last year’s instalment.

This year will see some newbies be rendered for the first time – NXT upstarts and alumni of years gone by. Aside from anyone who has had contractual or personal disputes backstage, you can usually guarantee that whoever was signed onto the active roster around WrestleMania time will be included in the game. DLC usually covers whoever may have been missed by a minute, for this year I’d say safe money would be on War Raiders and some of the standouts from the MYC, as well as a few themed packs highlighting the best of ECW and such.

Last year’s biggest additions came from the first incarnation of 205 Live, as well as Raw GM Kurt Angle and a few first-timers from NXT. I expect there to be a few names in among this year’s game that are not only welcome surprises, but also some who will be at the top of all our Universe modes.
