PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium Games For July 2022 Possibly Leaked

Potentially more to come too.

June saw Sony finally launch the new tiers of PlayStation Plus, with PS Plus Essential acting like the regular version of the service, while Extra and Premium come with an expansive library of games all ready to download or even cloud stream. Premium even includes a host of retro games too, which is always nice. Following the launch though, the interest was naturally going to be in what Sony would bring to the service next, and according to a rumour on ResetEra spotted by Push Square, the next batch of games promises to be good.

The leak comes from a ResetEra user by the name of BlackBate, who has previously been correct when it comes to leaking announcements ahead of time. That said, with no announcements yet, it’s worth taking this news with a pinch of salt. BlackBate mentions Stray first, which is already confirmed to be launching on PS Plus Extra and Premium, but the following titles are yet to be announced:

– Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade + Episode INTERmission
– Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
– Assassin’s Creed Unity
– Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry
– Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
– Saints Row IV: Re-Elected

Considering that PS Plus Extra and Premium includes Ubisoft+ as part of its subscription, it would make sense that more Ubisoft games are coming to the service. BlackBate also hints that these games will drop on the same day as Stray’s release date, July 19th, and that these aren’t the only games that’ll be dropping that day. Given the fact that no retro games have been mentioned yet for the Premium tier, perhaps we’ll see Sony digging into their PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP libraries to pull out some more games.

Get the summoning circle ready for God Hand, lads.
