The PlayStation Network Is Down, But Don’t Panic

It'll be back soon. We think.

It’s been a little while since we had a significant interruption to the service, but it seems like the PlayStation Network is currently down. That means you may have issues logging in to play online on PS5, PS4, PS3, and even, gasp, Vita.

This outage is also affecting PlayStation Now and all social features — it’s more or less a complete wipeout for the PlayStation ecoystem. This is what things look like right now over on the official PlayStation status page (red means bad):

We’ve reached out to Sony for some kind of comment, though we don’t expect a reply. We also don’t expect this to last too long, as Sony have become grown pretty good at jumping on these issues with PSN and the wider PlayStation ecosystem.

When Will PSN Come Back Online?

It’s been around fourty minutes of PSN being basically offline at this time of writing and Sony have yet to issue a fix or statement, though that doesn’t mean they won’t be on top of it. It shouldn’t be too long before service is restored, or at least we hope so.

We wanted to get some games of Apex in before the end of Season 8.

We’ve spoken its name, so you may as well now check out the best games on the Vita. We miss you.
