Sony Interactive Entertainment head Jim Ryan has confirmed to GQ in an interview that more PlayStation exclusives will be making their way to the PC in the near future, starting with Days Gone this spring.

Days Gone Is Coming To PC?

Yes, joining an ever growing list of PlayStation exclusive games that have been making their way to PC recently, with games like Death Stranding and Horizon: Zero Dawn, which were formerly PS4 exclusives, now available on PC.

While the GQ interview with Jim Ryan doesn’t go into specifics regarding the Days Gone release, Ryan does speak more about PlayStation’s change in stance regarding bringing their exclusives to PC: “I think a few things changed. We find ourselves now in early 2021 with our development studios and the games that they make in better shape than they’ve ever been before.”

He adds: “Particularly from the latter half of the PS4 cycle our studios made some wonderful, great games. There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognise the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward. The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the calibre of the IP has improved. Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision for us to make.”
