Play Dead By Daylight For Free This Weekend On Xbox One

Also, Just Cause 4 and Terra Tech.

Xbox’s classic Free Play Days weekend event is back once again, allowing Xbox Live Gold members the opportunity to play the latest and greatest games for “free”. You still have to pay for your Gold subscription, mind you, but this is just an added little bonus.

Anyway, from today until the end of the week, Xbox Live Gold members will receive unlimited access to Dead By Daylight: Special Edition, Just Cause 4 and Terra Tech. All three games are currently on sale right now, and if you purchase any of these games, your progress from the free weekend will carry over to the full version.

Both Dead By Daylight and Just Cause 4 are already available as part of Xbox Game Pass, so if you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you’ll be able to play either of those games anyway. For Dead By Daylight particularly, a free weekend is good news for anyone who plays as a Killer, as it’ll be open season on the fresh influx of new players.

Either way, it’s brave of Xbox to hold a Free Play Days weekend event the same weekend of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s open beta. I think it’s obvious what the majority of Xbox Live Gold members will be playing this weekend, but let us know what your plans are in the comments below.
