Persona 5 Royal

ATLUS have announced that Persona 5 Royal, the director’s cut re-release of one of this generation’s finest JRPGs, will be launching on PS4 on March 31st 2020. This news comes with a new trailer and some information regarding all the bundles that’ll be available when the game launches.

Persona 5 Royal pre-orders, which are available as of today, feature a host of additional content. Even the regular Launch Edition has a Steelbook and a dynamic theme download, only setting you back €59.99/$59.99/£49.99. However, the Phantom Thieves Edition comes with all that plus the soundtrack, an art book, a collector’s box and the official Joker Mask, along with a stand to place it on. The bundle costs €89.99/$89.99/£79.99.

As for digital players, pre-ordering the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions through the PlayStation Store will net you some exclusive costumes. The Deluxe includes the “Kasumi Costume Bundle”, while the Ultimate Edition includes all the DLC bundles plus an additional six costume packs. DLC bundles will be available to purchase separately if you see one you like, though it’s worth noting that all the original Persona 5 DLC will be free to Royal players.

Persona 5 Royal is an updated version of the original Persona 5, adding new characters, abilities and a brand new story arc to the game. Even if you’ve played the original version of the game, Royal adds enough new content to the game to make it worth revisiting. Are you excited for Persona 5 Royal? Let us know in the comments.
