“Have you ever seen Pikachu deflect a coin into a demon’s brain?” is a pretty good defence in court, right?
Yes, Palworld is teaming up with ULTRAKILL to bring weapons and gear from the latter into the former. And yes, I will be playing it.
Since its release in 2024, Palworld has built its following on letting players live out their cottage-core dreams: farming, crafting, and bonding with the endlessly merchandisable* “Pals.” Of course, you can also use those same creatures to do your dirty work, from base defence to full-on combat as your own personal militia.
Meanwhile, ULTRAKILL is a love letter to ’90s shooters that is probably the best one of all the modern throwbacks. You play as a machine called V1, ripping through Hell at Mach 5 and slurping up blood like it’s milkshake. It’s loud, fast, and unashamedly gory, so obviously it should team up with Palworld. Every game with a gun in it should.
There is no release date for this collaboration just yet, but it seems like V1 himself is coming over to the world of Pal itself. So, um, yeah: ULTRAKILL in Pokémon Legends: Z-A when?
