So, because people can’t have nice things in this world anymore, some DC “fans” are planning on tanking the Rotten Tomatoes Audience score. You know, because sometimes people want to piss on the things other people enjoy. Also, they’ve been encouraged to spoil the film wherever possible.
I wish I was making this up and writing for The Onion, but no. Twitter user MarvelousRealm, an account dedicated to all things Marvel, found the Facebook event which encouraged this ludicrous behaviour. Check it out below:
Hahahahahahaha

This news comes off the back of Black Panther had the highest pre-sale ticket orders on Fandango for any superhero film, which is a remarkable achievement that should be celebrated. Guess these fuckheads missed the memo.
This same group of people with nothing better to do than spew vitriol onto the digital realm have also claimed responsibility for the negative reviews on Rotten Tomatoes for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. They’re also planning to do the same thing again with Infinity War, Solo: A Star Wars Film and likely every other Disney owned film from now until the end of time. I guess it’s good to have a hobby, but come on now, guys.
Given the aforementioned success of Black Panther before it’s even been released, combined with the huge wave of positive reviews that have come out recently, it’s likely that a bunch of dickheads on Facebook won’t do much to affect the film in the long run. The page they were affiliated with, “Down With Disney’s Treatment of Franchises and its Fanboys”, appears to have been shut down, probably due to mass reporting from Marvel fans, but that probably won’t stop them. People just gotta be dicks, I suppose.
