Listen, if you quit a game of Overwatch because things aren’t going your way, you’re a bad person. A terrible human being. A walking toilet. Well, maybe not that bad, but you’re basically killing your team’s chances of a comeback – you never know what could happen.
Blizzard, having already sacrificed their lambs for the day, aren’t messing around with quitters any longer. If you leave a match early, expect to be hit in the XP pocket as you will see a 75% loss for Quick Play quits and leaving a Competitive will see the same penalty along with a suspension for repeat offenders.

The moral of the story? Don’t let Bastion beat you into mental submission and just stay the course. Shit, you don’t want to be banned from playing for a whole season of competitive Overwatch.
