Overwatch: Genji’s Dragonblade Sword Forged in Real Life

Genji

For a lot of Overwatch players, the sound of bullets ricocheting off of Genji’s Dragonblade haunts their dreams. With a well-placed deflection, the simple maneuver can cut down multiple foes with a simple press of a button. In the hands of an accomplished Genji player, it can be painful.

But probably not as painful as an actual blow from this: a Dragonblade replica forged by the brains at Man at Arms: Reforged.

Sadly, it probably can’t deflect bullets at lightning speed, but will almost definitely take down a German juggernaut who is a few eggs short of an omelette. Man At Arms made Dragonblade using traditional methods and the all important glowing green goodness was managed through a series of LED lights, along with a sheet of Lexan polycarbonate.

In case you somehow missed the news, Overwatch is one of the best games of 2016. It’s become a global phenomenon, spawning a porn parody, crazy people playing it with bananas, and furious conversation over who’s the best hero.

Pick Overwatch up on PS4, Xbox One, or PC if you haven’t yet.
