In true Blizzard style, the first animated short intended to flesh out Overwatch’s extended universe has been released, introducing players to Winston; one of the game’s playable characters.
Mirroring the release of Warlords of Draenor, Blizzard has begun to grant players an insight into the varied cast of characters that make up the confirmed list of 21 characters playable in the game.
As the team-based shooter will be releasing without a strict campaign, these CGI shorts aim to expand the backdrop against which players will be going toe-to-toe with one another. The first, entitled “Recall”, explores the narrative of Winston, the intellectual primate who appears to kickstart the events of Overwatch into action.
