Override 2: Super Mech League Launches This December

Mech some noise.

Override 2

Modus Games have announced that Override 2: Super Mech League, the sequel to Override: Mech City Brawl, will be launching on December 22nd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and the Nintendo Switch. To celebrate the news, you can check out a gameplay overview trailer above.

What’s New In The Sequel?

While the first game saw huge robots battering each other in recognisable cities and locations, the sequels seems to have scaled the larger scale destruction back to focus more on tighter and fast gameplay, and it’s a decision that could just pay off. The first game was a bit ropey, and could have been better optimised, so hopefully those issues will be addressed in the new version.

Anything Else I Should Know?

The standard edition of the game will be available as a digital-only purchase, and will cost £24.99. Meanwhile, the ULTRAMAN Deluxe Edition will receive a physical and digital release, costing £34.99. This version will include the season pass and bonus cosmetics, with the season pass offering four characters from the Ultraman franchise: Ultraman, Bemular, Dan Moroboshi and Black King.
