Last updated:

Oshi No Ko is an anime that seemingly came from nowhere before its popularity skyrocketed almost overnight. One look at the promotional images for Oshi No Ko: Season 1 , and you might think the show is a cute idol series. Maybe something like Love Live or K-On! where you get to watch a group of girls form a group and perform. You’d be deeply surprised to learn that the show can get incredibly dark as it discusses real issues within Japan’s idol culture.

Oshi No Ko features some pretty deep themes and dark moments, but it also has just the right amount of wackiness that somehow makes the show work perfectly. Just keep the former in mind in case you were expecting a purely wholesome, happy-go-lucky show about cute entertainers. Follow this Oshi No Ko: Season 1 episode guide to be up-to-date on when each episode is coming out. This guide will also inform you of which streaming services you can watch the show from.
