NXT returned to Full Sail to film their tapings for the remainder of August and the month of September. The news breaking from last night’s star-studded tapings took place in the night’s main event contest between The Undisputed Era and The Street Profits in an NXT Tag Team title match. Fish and O’Reilly demanded a TakeOver rematch, since Ford & Dawkins failed to pin the legal man in Toronto. They were granted one final opportunity to become the first ever three-time Tag Team Champions in NXT history, and so they did.

The Undisputed Era were heavily featured throughout the tapings, pushing the idea of all four men walking away with championship gold. Adam Cole defended his NXT title against NXT Breakout Tournament winner, Jordan Myles, and Roderick Strong continued in his plight for the North American Championship.

Johnny Gargano proclaimed his loyalty to the developmental brand, after being attacked by Shane Thorne, and Pete Dunne decided to stick around US NXT for another few weeks, following his loss at TakeOver Toronto.

Overall this seemed to be a pretty fun set of tapings, with another four weeks being filmed tonight, who knows what else might go down.
