NWA News: Billy Corgan Announces Weekly TV Show

Wonder where they got that idea.

NWA TV

NWA head honcho Billy Corgan announced via their YouTube channel that the rebooted promotion will be coming back to weekly television in October. Corgan is looking to put the NWA back into its own spotlight, starting in Atlanta and bringing their biggest stars to the small screen to recreate that chaos and anarchy that professional wrestling fans first adored back in the early 70s.

NWA TV looks to create opportunities for young talent who are seeking an unscripted and uncensored environment to do what they do best. Global stars such as Colt Cabana, Eli Drake, Willie Mack and current NWA World Champion, Nick Aldis, have all reinvigorated their careers as part of Corgan’s NWA, so it’ll be interesting to see just how far they can go now that they have TV production behind them.

Corgan confirmed that the first TV shows will be filmed on September 30th and October 1st, ticket information has yet to be released. It seems that All Elite Wrestling have become trendsetters in the independent wrestling world, giving smaller promotions the confidence to produce their own TV, not necessarily to compete with WWE, but to help put themselves out there.
