November 2018’s PlayStation Plus Games Include Yakuza & Bulletstorm

Sony have seemingly revealed the November 2018 games way ahead of time either by accident or because they really want people to sign up for the next three months. First spotted by Nibel (who you really should follow, by the way) over on this page, the November games are not bad at all.

The marquee act is Yakuza Kiwami, which is a remake of the first game for anyone confused by the timeline of the series. As someone who has Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 2 without really playing all that much of either, I am running out of excuses to not jump into Kamurocho and punch all of the things in the face.

bulletstorm

The supporting act, as it were, is Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, which is a remaster of the PS3 and Xbox 360 cult favourite. It’s a no-bullshit FPS game with a very bad attitude that I have very fond memories of, so hopefully its inclusion in November 2018’s PlayStation Plus games won’t tarnish them.

These, of course, are not all of the games up for download for November on PlayStation Plus. Sony have a welcome habit of including two or three Cross-Buy games each month, so you’re more realistically looking at 4-5 PS4 games for November.

This gives an interesting insight into how Sony figure out PlayStation Plus — it looks as if they have the next month’s offerings all wrapped up way ahead of time. I wonder how far in advance they must organise each month’s line-up?

The current month’s line-up includes Friday the 13th and Laser League. November 2018’s PlayStation Plus games, all things being well, will launch on November 6th: the first Tuesday of the month, which is when all new PlayStation Plus games are added.
