The new games for October 2018 on PlayStation Plus have been announced following on from Games With Gold’s reveal yesterday. While it’s not a bad month for subscribers by any means, it’s not quite the heights that we’ve been seeing recently.

Friday The 13th: The Game is arguably the headlining act for October and may appeal to those who love iconic horror as well a ruining their friends lives online. It may be immediately familiar to those who played Dead By Daylight from last month’s PS Plus offerings, but they are different beasts. It’s a suitably spooky game to suit the start of the spooky season, but be warned that its developers are currently unable to update the game with new content due to licensing issues.

Supporting the slashing, Laser League will also offer its multiplayer fun this October with it being critically acclaimed but relatively failing to make an impact in terms of sales. If there’s anything that can give your ailing game a boost, it’s making it free for a playerbase of millions. Having not played it yet, this is probably the game I will be looking forward to playing the most next month.

The line-up in full:

– Laser League (PS4)
– Friday The 13th: The Game (PS4)
– Master Reboot (PS3)
– The Bridge (PS3, PS4, Vita)
– Rocketbirds 2: Evolution (Vita, PS4)
– 2064 Read Only Memories (Vita, PS4)

The games for next month will launch on October 2nd, 2018 as all new PS Plus games land on the first Tuesday of each month.
