Playing No Man’s Sky Will Not Require A PlayStation Plus Account

No Man's Sky

No Man’s Sky, from developer Hello Games, is without a doubt one of the most anticipated games of 2016. The space exploration simulation features an algorithm capable of creating over 18 quintillion planets for you to explore. No, that was not a typo. True innovation in games is clearly not a thing of the past.

And rest assured, when it comes to playing No Man’s Sky, no man will be left behind. The game won’t require a PlayStation Plus account, as its distributor, Sony, confirmed in an interview with our friends over at Game Informer. So, although you can technically play it online, a a PlayStation Plus account won’t be a necessity.

Be prepared to kiss goodbye to your social life in favour of an infinite fictional universe when No Man’s Sky lands on PS4 on 9 August 2016, with a PC release coming three days later.
