No Man’s Sky Is Coming To The Xbox One

No Man's Sky

Hello Games have announced that their procedurally generated space exploration game No Man’s Sky will finally be coming to the Xbox One in the summer, and that the game will ship with all previous updates and the upcoming Next update. No, seriously. It’s called Next.

No Man’s Sky, which launched as a timed PS4 exclusive back in 2016, received a lambasting when it came out for being light on features and content. However, the team have been hard at work delivering on what was promised before launch. Nowadays, the game is barely recognisable and filled with more things to do besides planet hopping, so much so that for many, this could be a second chance for No Man’s Sky to make a good first impression.

No Man’s Sky will be released digitally and physically in the summer, with worldwide distribution being handled by 505 Games. Xbox One X owners will also get an enhanced version, so you can really get your money’s worth out of the machine. As for the Next update, Hello Games are playing it coy with what to expect, but Hello Games founder Sean Murray says it’ll be “by far our biggest update so far”.

The future certainly looks bright for No Man’s Sky, but will it be well received when it comes to the Xbox One this summer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and check out what Jimmy thought of a game being called the next No Man’s Sky, and not in a good way: Sea of Thieves.
