Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games, the joint developers of Street of Rage 4, have today announced the fifth and final character that’ll be playable in the upcoming Streets of Rage 4, scheduled to launch this Spring on PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. Check out the official trailer for yourself below.

The new characters, Floyd Iraia, is a cybernetic powerhouse that boasts the longest range of all the characters on offer, and his huge robot arms ensure that anything he hits, he destroys. Unfortunately, the trade off is that his movement speed and health recovery are worse than most characters, but when you’re absolutely battering hordes of thugs, who cares?

The trailer comes with the news that you’ll be able to play Streets of Rage 4 in full co-op, with up to four player support in local play. In a series first, you’ll also be able to enjoy two player co-op online with a friend, ensuring you don’t have to face the criminals of Wood Oak City alone. Will you be playing Streets of Rage 4 when it launches later this year? Let us know in the comments.
