New Pokemon Gold and Silver Vinyls Go On Pre-Order Tomorrow

iam8bit are releasing 2xLPs featuring the music from Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, which will be available for pre-order from tomorrow, Wednesday, May 31 at 8 a.m. PT.

The hour-long soundtrack features music from Patti Rudisill (violin), Andrew Stern (cello), Laura Intravia (flute, piccolo), Kristin Naigus (oboe, English horn, bassoon, ethnic winds), Peter Anthony Smith (clarinet) and John Robert Matz (trumpet), and is based on the original Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver score by Junichi Masuda, Go Ichinose and Morikazu Aoki. The album artwork was created by Ryan Brinkerhoff.

Also included in the release will be a digital version of the music, though this won’t be available for download until later on this year.

The vinyls will sell for $40 USD and feature a “Premium Foil Stamped Jacket, Foil Inner Sleeves, Half-and-Half Color Vinyl & Epic Gatefold Art.”
