Team Ninja have (prematurely) revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Soulslike adventure Nioh 2, showcasing some of the various enemies and bosses your character will be taking on in this new, hardcore adventure. The trailer was live on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel for a bit, but it’s now private. That hasn’t stopped the internet from grabbing and republishing the video though, so you can check it out below while you mentally prepare yourself for this second onslaught.
As mentioned, the new trailer focuses heavily on the new locations, characters and bosses you’ll encounter during your journey, with enemies including a giant demonic spider crab thing, a dual sword wielding creature in the forest and a giant cat lady that definitely won’t receive any fanart within the next 24 hours. Of course not, that’d be silly.
Players will be able to use a variety of weapons and demonic abilities to conquer the hundreds of enemies lying in wait for you in Sengoku Era Japan. If it takes what made the first game special and builds on it, Nioh 2 could be a real winner for the PS4 when it’s scheduled to launch in early 2020. What are you thoughts? Sound off in the comments.
