Nintendo has just announced that those excited for anything new to do with the Switch are going to have to wait for a little while longer. They’re keeping tight-lipped about their new console until January 12th 2017.
Announced in a tweet, the Switch will be the subject of its own presentation at an event to discuss it further. Apart from the reveal trailer, not much else is known about the console apart from speculation, so this event might include information on the system’s power, expected battery life for its handheld “versions”, and whether or not Skyrim is really coming to it.

It’s been just over a week since Nintendo revealed the Switch and it has certainly gone down well. There’s plenty of hype surrounding it already, owing much to how it can be used in the house and on the move. Nintendo have also revealed that it won’t be launching at a loss, so they expect it will be shifting two million copies during its initial release window.
