The trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest project, Interstellar, just dropped and predictably it looks absolutely excellent.
Plot details aren’t exhaustive, but it appears to be set in the not too distant future at a time when the number of people on earth has far exceeded the amount of food, and Matthew McConaughey is recruited to conduct a space mission to rescue humankind.
From the trailer one would assume that this means terraforming a planet to be suitable for human life, but since this is a film by the man who brought us Inception and Memento, I doubt it’s going to be that straightforward. We’re stupidly excited.
