WWE head-honcho Stephanie McMahon has provided a small update on both Ronda Rousey and Olympic gold medalist, Gable Steveson’s status within WWE and when we might expect to next see them on WWE television.

As far as ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ goes, McMahon confirmed that Rousey would be welcomed back to the WWE locker room whenever the opportunity presented itself. The door is very much still open for the former RAW Women’s Champion to reclaim her stature as one of the Women’s division’s top stars.

The last time Rousey competed for WWE was as part of the historic WrestleMania 35 main event, where Ronda defended her championship against both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, the latter of which would go on to claim her first WrestleMania moment. Since then, Ronda took a hiatus from the company to start a family with her partner. Although the door has been left well and truly propped open for her return.

McMahon was also enquired about the status of RAW superstar, Gable Steveson, who was drafted as part of this year’s brand-altering event. The collegiate star will be one of the first names to flourish as part of the NIL program, a new-founded developmental system that allows collegiate athletes to hone their craft as a sports-entertainer as part of the WWE Performance Centre. This will allow college wrestlers to fulfil their term at University, while providing them with access to state-of-the-art facilities and the potential of securing a WWE contract.
