We’ve been waiting for nearly three decades for a sequel to the cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and while we probably won’t be getting a follow-up to the insane 1988 horror comedy anytime soon, fans still have reason to celebrate, because Arrow Video have just announced a new Blu-ray edition of the film.
Set to be released on in the UK on March 26, 2018, this new edition of edition of Killer Klowns from Outer Space will be a restoration from the original 4K camera negative. It will contain a commentary track from director Stephen Chiodo and his brother and writing partner Charles Chiodo, in addition to featuring some of their early short films as bonus features. As with most of Arrow’s releases, the box art is insane in the best possible way.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space starred Grant Cramer, Suzanne Snyder, John Allen Nelson, and Royal Dano, and has gone on to achieve cult status among sci-fi and horror fans for delivering all the goofy fun that the title promises.
